Students involved in any extracurricular activities or that park their vehicle on campus are required to participate in random drug testing. Attached you will find the authorization form. This form is due by Friday, October, 28, 2016. Students will become ineligible to participate in extracurricular activities and/or park on campus Monday, October 31, 2016 if this form is not returned. If you have a student that does not participate in any extracurricular activity or park on campus you may choose to have them included in the random drug testing by completing this form as well.

Today, Wendy’s High School Heisman recognizes Justin Hedman from Texas Leadership Charter Academy and his dedication to never cutting corners by naming them School Winners.
TLCA board of directors has approved and will be instituting a new random drug testing policy for all students who participate in TLCA extracurricular activities, or who drive onto and park on TLCA school property. A copy of this new policy will be posted under the compliance tab and in the board policy section of our TLCA website.
Parents, Tomorrow, Wed, 28 Sept 16 at 7:00am is See You At The Pole day. Students who want to participate can meet in the West parking lot to pray by the church foyer entrance.
On Wednesday September 7th,2016 Children's Miracle Network Jean Day Fundraiser was held on all 3 campuses in San Angelo. We would like to Thank all the Students and Staff that participated in the 2016 Miracle Jean Day. TLCA raised a total of $2,192.00. All proceeds went to Children's Miracle Network.
We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to The Young Professionals of San Angelo for presenting a $1,700 check to the TLCA Elementary campus. These funds will be used to purchase various school supplies.
TLCA High School will host an Open-House/Meet-the-Teacher Event on Thursday, August 11. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and we will begin collecting paperwork and packets. Students will not receive their schedules until their beginning of school paperwork is complete and returned. Packets for returning students will be available in the high school office beginning Monday, August 8. There will be a brief orientation in the gymatorium beginning at 6:30 PM and changes, policies, and expectations will be discussed. After the assembly, parents and students will be released to "Meet-the-Teacher" until 8:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!
