TLCA is Pleased to Announce New Campus Administrators

Johnny Burleson has been named TLCA San Angelo High School Principal. Mr. Burleson has been with TLCA for 8 years serving in many roles including Athletic Director. We are also excited to gain Susan White and Casey Ferguson as TLCA High School Assistant Principals. Kevin Reed has been named TLCA’s Jr High School Principal. Mr. Reed joined TLCA in 2016. We know that the vision doesn’t come to life without dynamic leaders in every school. We welcome these excellent leaders for our 2017- 2018 school year.

TLCA Names New Athletic Director

A new era of athletics has begun at Texas Leadership Charter Academy. Brent Rider has been named the TLCA Eagles new Athletics Director /Head Football Coach. Mr. Rider graduated high school from Claude, TX and graduated college from Texas State University. The Eagles are excited about the direction of our athletic program and are looking forward to a successful year.

To make sure that the boxes are delivered before the start of school, parents need to order by July 25th.Even though the flyers say that the sale starts in July, the boxes are now available and parents can order them today.

TLCA High School named one of the Best High Schools in the Nation

San Angelo, TX - The U.S. News and World Report has issued its list of the Best Performing High Schools in the United States for 2017.Texas Leadership Charter Academy High School is among 10 Concho Valley Schools that earned this national ranking and received a bronze medal. Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-academic tests and how well they prepare students for college.
We want to congratulate and recognize our High School teachers and staff on receiving this national award. We were able to achieve this as result of the dedication and passion our teachers have for our students and their education. According to the U.S. News and World Report, Bronze medals were awarded to only 16.8 percent of all high schools in America.

TLCA Students Continue Giving Back

TLCA students continue to give back to our community. During the month of April, all TLCA campuses raised money for Relay for Life. A combine total of $1,330.49 was raise in one day. The funds were donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of cancer survivors within our TLCA family to include Debra Jackson, Debra Ledbetter, Marilyn Hudman, and Erica Landers.

The TLCA HS Speech and Debate team took home the district championship at the District meet today.

Open Enrollment for all NEW students to TLCA begins April 3rd

Applications for the 2017-2018 school year will be available online beginning April 3, 2017. Paper applications will not be used this year. Online applications can be completed on any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection. If you do not have access to the internet, you may come in to any TLCA campus and complete an online application with the Campus Registrar.
