Tango Flight

Texas Leadership is excited to welcome the program

into the family of innovative classes for the 2023-2024 school year. TLCA joins only 11 other schools in the State of Texas who have partnered with Tango Flight in conjunction with names such as Delta Airlines, Airbus, and First Aviation Services, Inc. as well as many others!

What is "Tango Flight?" It is a high school course that provides students with the tools needed to build and fly a two-seat FAA Certified Airplane. Tango Flight students receive a proprietary curriculum that provides meaningful classroom learning with real hands-on training. It’s a dual-credit curriculum introducing them to the disciplines of aerospace, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and design engineering. Over the course of a school year, students learn about aviation and aerospace engineering as they work with local businesses and Mentors.

This course helps to prepare highly competitive, collaborative, and skilled youth. It is consistent with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) standards, as well as college readiness and STEM-workforce expectations.
