Cross Country Meet  |  Eula, Texas  |  Rules & Procedures

We will be in school still (until 3:40), so please park in the baseball field parking lot that sits just south of the Elementary School (between the baseball field and Elementary). We will take your entry fees at check in and be able to give you a receipt.  If you are mailing a check, just let us know at check in.

  •  We will award medals to the top 10 in each race.  We will do a team score for each heat, but there will not be an overall champ or plaques due to the multiple heats.  We will post results and times on our website, and they will be emailed out. We ask that you not wait for results, as we have to get everyone out of here before the next group of schools arrive.
  • Throughout the course of the day, we will have around 600 participants. The size of the races will vary. High School races vary from 27 to 70 // while Junior High is 33 to 65.
  • There will be two sets of restrooms. The pair at the back of the band hall, and then another set of restrooms near the baseball field and starting line.
  • We will have shower heads/sprinklers around the finish line to cool people off.  It does look like it will be a cool day for this time of year! Due to the COVID situation we WILL NOT have our normal watering stations. STUDENT’S NEED TO HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONAL WATER BOTTLE.

COVID UIL GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS

SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED.  THEY SHOULD REMAIN SOCIAL DISTANCED FROM THOSE NOT IN THE HOUSEHOLD AND WEAR A FACE COVERING PER UIL GUIDELINES. ATHLETES SHOULD WEAR FACE COVERING UNTIL THEY GET READY TO RUN.

I realize this is an outside event, but this is what UIL says to do. We will monitor the best we can. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

We look forward to a great day for our Eagles!

Thanks for your support,

Coach Clark
