Texas Leadership of San Angelo welcomes Coach Paulo Gonzalez as the brand new head football coach for the 2023-2024 school year. Coach Gonzalez comes to TLCA from Maypearl ISD where he served during the 2022-2023 school year as the Assistant Head Football Coach, as well as the Head Boys Track Coach and leader in Strength & Conditioning. He’s been identified in other districts as a Leader, having taken over the program at a moment’s notice and serving in various capacities including Powerlifting, Varsity Boys basketball, Varsity Girls Softball Coach, as well as other areas as needed. He has coached everything from 1A – 6A during his career, and before getting in to High School football he coached Arena Indoor Football for the Abilene Rough Riders, and has experience as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Abilene Christian University where he also played football.
The Texas Leadership team is excited to have him on board.
