Rain of Compassion

TLCA of San Angelo generated over $2,200 in one day, affording them an opportunity to donate much-needed resources to those recently affected by the flood in Sonora, Texas. The Administrators gave all students and employees a special "Jeans Dress-Day" allowing them to pool their resources in support of the small town. The approximate 3,000 residents living in Sonora are receiving prayers, donations, and assistance from many a concerned neighbor!

TLCA Civil Air Patrol Gets Some New Threads!

On September 18th, during their weekly squadron meeting, our Civil Air Patrol squadron at the Texas Leadership Charter Academy Junior High received a generous gift from Goodfellow Air Force Base. Lt. Col. R.J. Kammerer, Commander 316 TRS and MSgt. Francisco Cavazos, presented the TLCA cadets with uniforms. The cadets were changing from the old Battle Dress Air Force uniform to the newer Airman Battle Uniform. Lt. Col. Kammerer, who has a son in the TLCA squadron, reached out to Maj. Becca Levesque, the TLCA squadron commander, and offered to fill an order of the sizes for this year's cadets. After Maj. Levesque measured the cadets, MSgt. Henry was tasked with gathering all of the correct sizes and filling the order. TLCA has always had a very good relationship with Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas and we are very grateful for their commitment to our success in the CAP program at the TLCA Junior High.

• Breakfast is from 7:00 – 7:30 am

TLCA San Angelo Elementary parents

We apologize for the issues surrounding pick up this afternoon. It is never our intent to cause frustration. Effective immediately we will return to last year’s model with walk up, pickup available in the back at the portico, as well as both of the car lines we’ve always had. For those of you that are returning parents you know what worked well for you last year. If you are a new parent to TLCA a map will be passed to you in the morning. We will also put one in the hands of every student. Please pay close attention to signs and watch for students.
We are confident this will alleviate the issues experienced today. Again, we apologize for such a long dismissal.
Respectfully,
Ron Ledbetter
TLCA Superintendent
